Privacy notice
This notice covers synkurl.com: the waitlist, the investor contact form, and how we count visits. Updated 10 October 2026. Version 2026-10-10.4.
In short: we keep only what we need to tell you about early access. We never sell it. You can have it deleted any time.
Who we are
Synkurl is a new product for families. In this notice, "we" means Synkurl. You can reach us at synkurl@synkurl.com.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Your phone type, your city and how many people are in your family.
- Which design idea you'd put in your home, if you choose to answer.
- That you told us you're 18 or older.
- The language of the page you used, when you joined and confirmed, when we last emailed you, and which version of this notice you agreed to.
We don't ask for your name or phone number.
Why we collect it
Only to tell you about early access to Synkurl, and to plan which phones and places to support first. We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.
Confirming your email
When you join, we send one email to check the address is really yours. It has two links: one to confirm, and one ("Not me: remove my email") that deletes the sign-up straight away. The links work for 48 hours. If a sign-up isn't confirmed within 7 days, we delete it automatically.
If our email system isn't working when you join, we keep your sign-up without asking you to confirm, and use it only as this notice describes.
You must be 18 or older
The waitlist is for adults. If you're under 18, please don't join. If we learn that someone under 18 has joined, we delete their details.
If you contact us as an investor
The form on our investors page collects your name, work email, organisation or fund (if you give it), what kind of investor you are, a LinkedIn or website link (if you give it), your message, whether you'd like our deck, and which version of this notice you agreed to.
We use it only to reply to you personally. It's kept separately from the waitlist. We send you one short thank-you email, and send your message on to our founder.
The bot check
To stop spam, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser before a form is sent. Your connection's IP address is used to limit how many times a form can be sent in a minute. We don't store it.
Counting visits, without cookies
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't follow you around the web. It tells us things like which pages were opened and roughly from which country, not who you are. The site has no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies.
Who helps us (service providers)
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores the waitlist and investor messages, and runs the bot check and visit counts.
- Resend sends our emails, like the confirmation email.
- Google Workspace holds our inbox, so it holds any email you send to synkurl@synkurl.com.
They handle your details only to provide these services to us. Their computers may be outside India.
How long we keep it
- Sign-ups that aren't confirmed: up to 7 days.
- The waitlist: until early access is over, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
- Investor messages: up to 2 years, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can withdraw your consent, see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. Use the "Not me: remove my email" link in our email, or write to synkurl@synkurl.com from the address you used. We'll do it and reply to confirm.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll change the date and version at the top.
